We are proud to announce that Donato Bonifazi, CVBF’s CEO and Member of the Board of Directors of the Teddy European Network of Excellence for Paediatric Research, will be participating in the upcoming Global CardioVascular Clinical Trialists (CVCT) Workshop, a high-level gathering of cardiovascular experts from around the world. The event is scheduled for 9-11 December 2024, in Washington DC.

The CVCT Workshop is renowned for its role in shaping the future of cardiovascular clinical trials. It brings together a select group of leading cardiologists, clinical trialists, principal investigators, statisticians, and regulatory experts. With more than 500 participants expected from various sectors including academia, clinics, CROs, patient advocacy groups, and the biotech industry, this workshop presents an excellent opportunity to contribute and learn from the collective know-how of the world’s leading cardiovascular experts.

Our CEO will be contributing to the academic group, presenting on the second day of the event. The presentation, titled “What are ideal drug candidates for study?”, falls under the broader topic of “Paediatric Cardiology Specific Clinical Trial Considerations”. This session aims to address the unique challenges and opportunities in developing and testing new therapies for paediatric patients, an area where our company has been making significant strides.

The CVCT Workshop, endorsed by renowned institutions such as Inserm, NHLBI, and the ESC Working Group on CV Pharmacology and Drug Therapy, covers a wide range of topics over its three-day duration. Discussions will span from real-world data and artificial intelligence to specific disease areas like pulmonary hypertension and heart failure. The event also addresses important issues such as women’s participation in trials and the ethics of data ownership in clinical research.

Our participation in this exclusive event not only showcases our expertise in paediatric cardiology but also provides a valuable opportunity to engage with and learn from other leaders in the field. We look forward to the insights and collaborations that will emerge from this workshop, which will undoubtedly inform our ongoing research and development efforts.

We will share key takeaways from the workshop after the event. Stay tuned for updates on our website and social media channels.
