Mark your calendars! The 2024 iCAN Advocacy and Research Summit is scheduled to take place from 15-19 July in Bari, Italy. This event brings together iCAN chapters worldwide for five days focused on paediatric research and healthcare innovation, collaboration, and advocacy. Thanks to the collaboration of the TEDDY Network the iCAN Summit 2024 will see the participation of new Chapters from Greece, Kosovo and Poland. Moreover, the TEDDY Kids was created based on the already existing groups like Kids Albania and Kids Bari, and they have now a permanent representative in the TEDDY Board of Directors, Fiona Rako, form Tirana.

As a member of the iCAN Advisory Board, Donato Bonifazi, our CEO, will participate in the summit. We are pleased to attend alongside remarkable young people from around the globe. The summit provides a platform for youth members to engage with leading professionals, share perspectives, and contribute insights.

At CVBF, we value collaboration and amplifying youth voices in healthcare discussions. Our involvement with this summit aligns with these principles. As the iCAN network expands, the summit represents an important opportunity to build partnerships, connect globally, and create opportunities for youth participation.

The deadline for summit registration has been extended to 15 June at 5:00 PM EST. Additionally, the poster submission deadline has been postponed to the 21st of June at 11:59 PM EST.
