We are pleased to announce that our CEO, Donato Bonifazi, a permanent member of the Advisory Group of the ACT EU Multistakeholder Platform (MSP AG) will participate in the upcoming Accelerating Clinical Trials in the EU (ACT EU) Multi-Stakeholder Platform Annual Meeting, as representative of TEDDY, the European Network of Excellence for Paediatric Research. The MSP Advisory Group consists of five stakeholder groups, and the TEDDY Network falls under the non-commercial European clinical data and translational research organizations and networks. The event is scheduled for 22 October 2024, from 09:30 to 17:00 CET, and will be held in a hybrid format at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in Amsterdam.

The ACT EU initiative, a collaboration between the European Commission, Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA), and EMA, aims to transform how clinical trials are initiated, designed, and run. This annual meeting brings together key stakeholders from across the clinical trials ecosystem to review achievements, discuss current challenges, and shape the future of clinical research in the EU.

Donato Bonifazi will join a distinguished panel of experts for a critical discussion on “A Brighter future for clinical trials in EU & how to get there”, to explore innovative approaches, designs, and strategies to enhance innovation and adaptation in clinical research, with a particular focus on the paediatric research needs and perspectives.

Key topics of the meeting include:

  • Review of ACT EU’s key achievements and their impact on clinical research
  • Discussion of the current clinical trials landscape and stakeholder needs
